Eagle Rock: The Only Place to Live in LA

Sometimes confused with the Valley, the Glendale, Eagle Rock and Pasadena area is actually a hybrid cousin of the Valley, combining semi-sedate living with actual, real-life culture.

And the LA Times is noticing again: It's taken 10 years, but the prediction seems to have finally come true. Eagle Rock really is the next Silver Lake.
